Our Story

While exploring the vibrant streets of Vietnam on a hot day, a quest to quench his thirst led Prabhu Ravindran, founder of Zubi Candy, to his first taste of delicious, authentic bubble tea. With just one sip, he was hooked — the burst of flavor, the chewy boba, the cooling refreshment — it was unlike anything he had experienced before.

Back in India, though, he couldn’t find that same quality or joy in the boba drinks available here. Most felt watered down, overly synthetic, or simply too expensive for everyday indulgence.

That’s when the idea began to brew:
Bring Vietnam’s favorite boba to India — the right way.

With the same belief that built Zubi Candy — that great taste should be accessible to all — Prabhu set out to reimagine boba for India. Real ingredients. Big flavors. No compromises.

And so, FUBU was born.
